I have some news I'm still pinching myself over.

Hankerie has been officially nominated for the 2026 Northern Districts Local Business Awards, Outstanding New Business Category.

I genuinely didn't expect this. Building a small, passion-led business from the ground up, in a studio pleasantly squeezy enough for five people, isn't always easy. But moments like this remind me exactly why I do it.

This nomination belongs to every single one of you who has taken a class, bought a kit, shared a post, or simply cheered this little business on from the sidelines. Thank you. From the bottom of my flour-dusted heart.
